Duties Performed included:• General ICT user support at Nairobi Central station• Monitoring and reporting of KRC DMU’s, Locomotives and Marine Vessels• Maintenance and inventory tracking of train monitoring equipment• Ticketing systems and user support across Nairobi Commuter rail stations. • Server and workstations maintenance across Nairobi Commuter rail stations• Monitoring of ticketing systems hardware performance and optimizing where need be.• Data entry and records capturing for easy management and automation of ICT records.• Software and antivirus installations and updates to ensure compliance. • LAN/WAN monitoring of active devices as well as reporting. • Asset management through asset management systems. • Document processing and movement through various departments

Duties performed included:• General ICT user support• LAN/WAN installations and troubleshooting.• Maintaining current understanding of pricing structures, market conditions and trends in industry.• Enrollment of students to the students’ biometric system. • Data entry, document scanning, printing, lamination and general office work.• Fixing and maintenance of the polytechnic’s computer laboratories.• Management of students’ information systems. • Maintaining excellent attendance record, consistently arriving to work on time.
