As a senior project manager, I am involved in ship (hull form, hydrodynamic) optimization and managing projects for model testing in our basins. Using CFD I am helping our clients to achieve the optimal hull form, in relation to e.g. resistance or power requirements. Thereafter we build these ships at model scale to test the powering performance. Furthermore I am also involved in research in the hydrodynamics of ships with respect to trim tables, hull form optimisation including propellers nd transom flow.
