Undergraduate Research Assistant

During the fall semester of 2021, I had the opportunity to work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering in Bloomington, Indiana. In this role, I was responsible for conducting ethnographic research using methods of inquiry such as observations, interviews, and qualitative coding.To ensure ethical research practices, I became CITI Program certified for Social/Behavioral Human Research and Social & Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research.One of my main responsibilities was assisting with interview transcriptions for a research study that aimed to conceptualize livestream as a design material. Through this experience, I gained valuable research skills and learned how to work effectively as part of a research team.
