I love finding the reasons for things.That drive is what originally drew me to computer science, because understanding how systems are built and connect was the answer to a lot of my questions about why today’s world works the way it does. I still remember the first time I learned about memory and hardware, the first time I looked at a page of HTML, and the first time I ran a machine learning model because each time, I felt like I was peeking behind the curtain. Nowadays, I’m passionate about machine learning and AI because it’s such a powerful tool for illuminating problems. I firmly believe data is the key to improving and understanding the world we live in, and I want to be a part of that. In my free time, when I’m not trying to solve some mystery or another, I love reading, water sports, traveling, and playing the piano.
