FarmShots took part in the Y Combinator Fellowship (2016), raised $650k in seed funding (2016), and was acquired by Syngenta (2018).Primarily functioned as the Lead Software Engineer. Developed models to analyze farm image data. Improved farm problem detection via statistics / cluster-heatmaps on GeoTiffs. Created computer vision models over sheep farm drone images with 98%+ accuracy for sheep recognition.Automated cron jobs to scrape / cache images, scale servers, and send client notifications. Reduced daily server time by 80%, optimized image delivery to 300ms, and cut scaling costs.Designed web UI components.Joined in early co-founding stages.
