Human and mouse primary cell isolation. Generation of stable and transiently transfected cells for use in assay development and screening, e.g., gene reporter assays, shRNA screening, FRET based assays FACS analysis and sorting, high content imaging and analysis.• Molecular Biology: all aspects of PCR and RT PCR, including development of quantitative high throughput assays using Taqman technology. Isolation, cloning and expression of genes in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic systems.• Biochemistry: development of enzymatic, biochemical and receptor binding assays. Protein expression and purification of proteins for use in high throughput screening. Gel electrophoresis, western blotting, protein assays. Isolation, detection and quantitation of proteins and nucleic acids.•Instrumentation and Automation: developed assays read on the FACS Calibur, FACS Aria, ArrayScan, ImageXpress Confocal, Opera Phenix, Nikon TiE Fluorescent Microscope, In Cell, FLIPR, Spectromax, CLARIOstar , and Envision. Used a variety of liquid handling systems such as the Multidrop, Bravo, Sciclone, pin tool and Multimek FX.Computer Software: Routine use of Activity Base, In Cell Developer, Cellomics Studio, Cell Profiler, FIJI, Elements, Diva, CellQuest, Flow logic, FloJo, GraphPad Prism, Spotfire, and other software for data analysis and experimental design. Fluent in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
