I started my career as a Registered Nurse at the Charles Camsell Hospital. What a unique and wonderful experience! I’ve worked in most operational areas as a nurse before moving into the roles of educator, professional practice leader and patient care manager.I moved to the corporate side of health care in 2008 and had the opportunity to become involved in planning and consulting on a variety of provincial initiatives. Then moved into the role of Director of Health Service Innovation Planning.Most recently, I have had the pleasure of connecting with past patients, family, caregivers and interested members of the community to engage them in partnering to provide their insights and perspectives in the design, development, improvement and evaluation of health care and service – as we move closer to a health care world that is person centered.
