I teach a wide variety of classes including the following: Introductory Psychology, Personality, Abnormal Psychology, Exceptional Child, History of Psychology, Psychotherapy, Psychological Assessment (undergraduate level), Psychopathology, Career Counseling, Clinical Assessment, and Advanced Personality Assessment (graduate level). I have been Chair of the department for 15 years. I have co-developed new graduate programs (M.S. in Clinical Counseling, M.S. in Human Services, and postgraduate certificate in Addiction Counseling), contributed to institutional assessment and strategic planning, and overseen many graduate theses. I have also remained active as a researcher in my field, publishing 30 papers and often presenting at professional conferences. Students have often acted as research assistants and received authorial credit for their work.

I conducted clinical assessments, delivered individual and group psychotherapy, and carried out other clinical functions for two psychiatric hospitals and two outpatient clinics.

Conducted psychoeducational groups (including "restoration of competency" group for those found not competent to stand trial under statute 54-56d), psychological assessments, and individual psychotherapy with psychiatric inpatients; participated in treatment team meetings.

I conducted semi-structured diagnostic interviews with psychiatric inpatients, made clinical ratings, administered and scored a battery of self-report measures, and wrote evaluation reports for the clinical team. I was also involved in data analysis and co-authoring research reports.
