As a recent graduate in civil engineering, I am passionate about using my skills to create sustainable and environmentally-friendly solutions. I am particularly interested in renewable energy and sanitation projects. During my studies, I gained hands-on experience working on a variety of projects, including designing a biogas plant and conducting undergraduate research on using rice husk ash as a partial replacement for cement in construction, a sustainable approach to conserving non-renewable resources. I have also successfully designed and implemented a charcoal cook stove that is energy efficient and reduces the amount of charcoal used by users, and started a briquettes production unit with the goal of conserving forests and reducing climate change issues. I am confident that my combination of technical expertise and passion for the environment make me a strong candidate for roles in environmental engineering.
