As the inaugural editor for a new website targeted to healthcare professionals, I managed the "Career News & Advice" section, posting five to 10 articles per day on topics ranging from hot careers in healthcare and interview preparation tips to sample cover letters and resumes. I also managed two weekly e-newsletters with healthcare career advice, and I produced over 100 online videos which included script writing, script editing, talent selection, prop selection, and on-set art direction.

Cuisine at Home magazine is a food publication targeted to passionate home cooks and professionals. During my tenure here, I successfully introduced health editorial to the magazine pages and hired the company's first health editor. I directed the editorial team to introduce new subject matter for newsstand specials as well, resulting in best-selling issues of all time. In addition to managing the editorial and design staff, I supervised the Test Kitchen staff, streamlining and vastly improving testing procedures and efficiencies.

I worked at Meredith Corporation for 28 years in food and health editorial departments, starting as an entry level book editor and working my way up to Editor in Chief of the Food & Health Magazine Group. This included creative oversight for more than 70 annual publications including award winning Diabetic Living magazine and Heart Healthy Living magazine (of which I launched both). I spent 17 years as food editor at Better Homes and Gardens, and then launched Meredith's first food subscription magazine Hometown Cooking which existed for three years.
