I am a first generation Caribbean-American woman from Milwaukee, WI. I am a University of Wisconsin - Madison alumna, with Bachelors of Science in Community & Environmental Sociology and Health Promotion & Health Equity. I also hold minors in African Studies and Environmental Studies. I am passionate about the ways marginalized communities engage with the natural world for community health and well-being. I am also passionate about exploring strategies to center this in social justice, disaster relief, and efforts to increase diversity in environmental spaces. I have worked in multiple sectors advocating for environmental justice and the well-being of institutionally marginalized communities.
