Facilitate cost down initiatives, inventory maximization, and consolidation. Lead 5 major cost savings initiatives on plastics, cable and harness assemblies, communication probes, pressure controls, and thermometers to drive 20% savings by utilizing Asian and Latin American markets.

Oversaw spend in electronics and appliance control commodities totaling $46 million annually out of a total departmental spend of $208 million. Responsible for 5 U.S. plants with a main focus of global sourcing to low labor cost countries, cost savings, vendor consolidation, and new vendor establishment for new product development. Located and developed a source in China for the manufacturing of two new gas detection units to allow us to reach a price point to enter the marketplace.
