Joyce has over 20 years experience of advising and delivering on major change programmes for multinational manufacturers operating in heavily-unionised environments and has avoided strike action or imposition of change in every case. A pragmatist with a strong Industrial and Employee Relations background, Joyce is also a specialist in the design of flexible working systems including annual hours programmes. Prior to joining EEF, Joyce spent 8 years as a Senior Industrial Relations Officer with ACAS and studied Management of Change and Resistance to Change in the ACAS Work Research unit before going on to successfully running her own company (IR Change Partnership) working in the UK and overseas for clients such as Airbus, Manchester Airport plc, Air Pacific, Fiji Sugar Industry, Siemens and BAE. Joyce now leads EEF’s HR Consultancy Services in the North West region providing outsourced HR solutions including on-site support, job evaluation systems, change management, flexible working, recruitment & selection and outplacement services.
