Purple Bamboo Chinese School was founded by Joyce Bai in 2009. We created our unique teaching method - Experience Chinese, which focuses on an interactive learning atmosphere and puts the impetus on the students, while getting them to speak. The best example for our method is a glass of water. Water is one of the softest substances in the world, yet it is able to erode the hardest materials. Water also is insubstantial, which means you cannot get a hold of it, you cannot punch it or hurt it. Our method is trying to do that, to be soft like the water, flexible, and adapt itself to the different students. And our courses are designed to suit each individual's need.
