Joyce Combs, MA, LPC, NCC, is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Kansas. Joyce graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a Master's Degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. She completed a master's level internship with the Community Counseling Center in Olathe, Kansas. Her clients included individuals, couples, students, and families dealing with relational issues, life concerns, and personal difficulties. She is certified with the National Board of Professional Counselors, a member of the American Counseling Association, and is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. Her experience in the helping field began as an intern at the Base Counseling Center in Okinawa, Japan, and later as a group facilitator for the Navy Alcohol/Drug Safety Action Program (NADSAP). After her husband's military retirement, she worked extensively in the medical field in practice administration. Joyce's experience with military members and private practice patients deepened a desire to assist others in pursuing greater personal health. This desire moved her to further her education in order to provide quality service to clients seeking counseling.
