I am a hardware engineer in a company which manufactures back-end semiconductor test machines. A typical daily work includes project preparation, machine setup, documentation, customer support, technical works and troubleshooting. My job requires me to work with various departments in the company. Communicating with sales, purchasing, production, quality and customer support is what my job entails.It is interesting changing paths from quality department to engineering. I enjoy both experiences as different skills set are needed for each job. My weaknesses are recognized through these different experiences, it is an opportunity for me to improve in the areas I am lacking in. The learning curves has been steep but it is always beneficial to acquire knowledge.
