Promoted entrepreneurial education and exposure to the concepts of financial literacy while developing relationships and providing mentoring opportunities with individuals and organizations throughout greater Akron. This 4 week program allowed participants the opportunity to acquire both the hard skills of finance, marketing, accounting, and the entrepreneurial mindset along with the soft skills of public speaking, negotiation, professional dress, networking and relationship building. Participants are presented with a variety of engaging and effective lessons each week. This program grew from 25 middle school participants in year one to over 35 middle school participants and 15 early high school students in grades 9-10th by year four.
