Joyce Seay Goss currently serves as the Regional Director for Phillips in Texas. Her extensive professional journey includes a fifteen-year tenure as the Executive Director of The Goss-Michael Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.After earning a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin, Joyce embarked on her career at Texas Western Mortgage, where she received training as a residential mortgage loan officer. With a wealth of experience, she went on to become the vice president and partner of Houston-based Summit Mortgage Corporation from 1994 to 2006.Joyce later joined Goss Gallery, founded by Kenny Goss and music icon George Michael, where she held the position of director. In 2007, she took on the pivotal role of leading the transition of the gallery from a business to a nonprofit foundation. During her tenure at The Goss-Michael Foundation, Joyce initiated educational programs and significantly expanded the foundation's community outreach efforts. Notably, she spearheaded the successful MTV RE:DEFINE event in September 2011, which raised over $13 million for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation and Dallas Contemporary.Beyond her professional achievements, Joyce has been actively involved in various philanthropic endeavors. She served as the President of the Board of Directors for The Family Place, Texas' largest domestic violence service provider, and currently sits on The Family Place Foundation Board. Additionally, she holds the position of President of the Board of Directors for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF's North Texas and Central Plains Region and is a member of the Advisory Council of the Nasher Sculpture Center and University of Texas Fine Arts Advisory Council.As a dedicated fundraiser, Joyce has chaired numerous events for nonprofit organizations, including The Family Place's Palm Night, North Texas Food Bank's Food4Kids campaign, TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art, Dallas UNICEF Experience, MTV RE:DEFINE, UNICEF's Children First Gala, ReuNight for The Family Place, Dallas Women's Foundation Annual Luncheon, Planned Parenthood's Annual Dallas Awards Luncheon, and Dallas Opera's First Sight Luncheon.Joyce has been recognized with several awards for her contributions, including Pi Beta Phi's Unsung Angel Award in 2015, North Texas Food Bank's Volunteer of the Year in 2016, FGI Dallas Art Patron of The Year in 2017, NorthPark Center Ambassador in 2017, and DIFFA/Dallas Legend in the Fight Against Aids award in 2022.Joyce is the proud mother of a daughter, Greer, who is a Dallas-based attorney.
