As the Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Officer for the Energizing Education Programme (EPP) Phase III at the University of Port Harcourt & Teaching Hospital. I lead initiatives to prevent and address GBV in the workplace. My role includes conducting risk assessments, facilitating sensitization and awareness training, and ensuring strict adherence to zero-tolerance policies for GBV and child labour. I work alongside project teams, subcontractors, and external partners to create a safe and inclusive environment, promoting gender equality and safeguarding workers' rights. My focus is on ensuring compliance with international standards and fostering a respectful workspace for all.
