Joyce Holl is the Executive Director of NODA-Association for Orientation, Transition and Retention in Higher Education. As NODA’s first Executive Director (since 2007), she has led the Association through strategic planning, governance restructuring, a name change and the development of Core Competencies for the profession. Throughout her career, Joyce has found jobs and opportunities to follow her passion of making a difference. At NODA, she is proud of the work that the Association does to support not only its members, but the students influenced by the work accomplished. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Duluth, Holl earned her Master of Arts in Public Administration from Hamline University, and earned a Certificate at the Institute for Executive Director Leadership from St. Thomas University. She has nonprofit management experience having served several non-profit organizations in various capacities. She has also served as an independent consultant for nonprofit and government agencies.
