Terrain is a unified data platform creating applied analytics for commercial real estate. Terrain gathers, structures, and interprets complex data. We use machine learning to develop proprietary insights for property investing, financing and operating. Terrain is a join venture by SignalFire, a quantitative VC fund, and Spear Street Capital, a leading real estate private equity investor.I built proprietary dynamic credit underwriting processes for real estate clients in Python to to assess tenant creditworthiness, volatility, and growth to decrease lending costs and increase investment returns. In addition, I advised client investment and talent strategy by identifying acquisition targets and investment properties through industry, geography, and talent market maps. I also supported corporate recruiting efforts by translating recruiting requests from Fortune 500 companies into technical Python code to generate leads lists and identify relevant talent (skills, experience, diversity filters), designing a 10x more efficient recruiting process for clients.

Addepar is a wealth management platform that specializes in data aggregation, analytics and reporting for complex investment portfolios. Addepar has over $2.7T in assets under management, raised over $475M from investors, and is valued at over $2B.I was Java ETL data engineer on the Data Feeds team. I partnered with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Relationship Management teams to understand client needs, navigate code dependencies, and engineer Java data feeds to transform raw transaction data from 10+ financial custodians into JSON data formats, adding $3B+ of assets under management. I also partnered with the Insights alternative asset team as the subject matter expert on data feeds to unlock new revenue streams and ingest the $700B+ market for alternatives. As part of this project, I led a cross-company project to architect new alternatives feeds from hedge fund and private equity partners like Artivest and iCapital.
