A medical scribe documents the physician-patient encounter into the patient chart in real-time. Scribes also are responsible for obtaining patient documents such as lab results, imaging results, past hospital, and medical records. This requires high attention to detail and being able to solve problems quickly. Being a scribe also requires an ability to be efficient with typing and navigating technology, using computers. A physician will see multiple patients in a day so being a scribe also requires being organized. Since the day is so busy, being punctual is important so that the physician can see all their patients in a timely manner.

As a Sales Associate, I was responsible for managing the products on the floor. Customer service was also a big part of my role, ensuring that our customers walked out of the store satisfied. Another part of my responsibility was to cash our customers out in an efficient and friendly manner. We are to acknowledge all customer questions and concerns as well as provide assistance when necessary. Store maintenance and cleanliness were to be upheld while on duty.
