- Execute test strategy, test plans, and risk assessments to ensure the on-time delivery of Starlims Lab software from system requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and support in alignment with internal policies and best practices.- Work with the 5-person Starlims team within the QA department and the 7-person SalesForce team to launch new high-quality UIs and an orders portal for doctors to place patient orders.- Identify bugs including functional, performance, and usability defects within the new UIs, resolve bugs by working with developers and cross-functional teams to test and deploy code in the testing environment, and escalate issues as needed.

- Process up to 300 breast tissue samples weekly to help detect the early stages of breast cancer.- Perform daily QA via Salesforce by verifying patient info, materials, and specimen ID codes prior to distribution and reporting to decrease erroneous and repeat testing of patient samples.- Reduce sample turnaround time by overseeing the analysis and revision of patient statuses and information from Customer Service and Histology and maintaining error logs to identify issues and increase data quality.

- Managed and prepared 3K weekly oral and urine samples, aliquoted and accessioned specimens, and logged information for specimen collection with a focus on quality while adhering to HIPPA, CLIA, and CAP regulations. - Oversaw laboratory inventory management and stock levels for equipment ranging from reagents to test tubes to ensure product availability during a rapid ramp-up for Covid testing.- Tracked, identified, and resolved lab technician, nurse, and medical assistant errors to optimize turnaround times.

- Tested patient blood samples, conducted extraction using the QIAGEN method, and processed specimens for testing and archiving while maintaining Hamilton and Tecan equipment to ensure a 48-hour turnaround time.
