• Treated at-risk children under the supervision of Jane Bock, PhD and Kenneth Backman for such issues as ADHD, PTSD, adjustment disorders, anger management, anxiety, depression, disruptive behavior disorder, grief and mood disorders. • Conducted assessment interviews and wrote treatment plans and progress notes according to DMH standards.• Managed a caseload of 30+ children per week and exceeded productivity goals. • Coordinated and secured sponsors for the agency’s annual holiday toy shop which serves 1,000 children.

• Developed e-mail marketing campaigns, wrote copy, branding and messaging for the organization’s website, books, seminars and e-learning product.• Booked and coordinated dozens of speaking engagements.• Converted the organization’s Addiction Proofing seminar to a teen seminar and delivered it to 500 teenagers.

I wrote and managed all web content including product updates, promotions and auction/catalog specific messaging for this dot com start up, now the third largest auction company of heavy equipment in North America. I also wrote internal and external support materials for each auction including: auction catalogs, updates, and fax and e-mail campaigns.

• Managed sponsors, vendors and media relationships required to implement, promote and expand various events and programs for United Way of the Bay Area and the seven county offices it serves.• Wrote releases and made pitch calls which raised $32,000 in one month to ship supplies to Hurricane Mitch victims. • Granted the wishes of more than 2,500 children through media coverage of Homepage for the Holidays, an online giving program.• Created the framework for United Way’s first violence prevention forum and the resulting program which has empowered more than 4,000 high school students with the funds and resources to achieve a measurable reduction of violence on their campuses. • Assisted in the taping and script development for half-hour public service segments highlighting various United Way supported agencies and programs.• Directed photographers during extensive photo shoots for website and campaign materials.• Worked with research firms to develop screeners and set up focus groups.• Prepared scripts, talking points, Q&A, schedules and timelines for events.• Arranged interviews and prepared talking points for Mervyn’s California & Delta Dental and Red Cross spokespeople.• Negotiated promotional television and radio opportunities for C & H Sugar.
