As Senior Officer in the Financial Management Analysis Office, my position provides managerial oversight for the Resource Cost Management Program responsible for executing a multi-million dollar annual operating budget. I provide technical expertise in areas of budget formulation, data/trend analysis, program/future planning development , developing financial plans/spend plans, distributing funding allocation, and monitoring budget execution. I often need to compile information/analyze data to provide recommendations for process improvements and/or report unusual finding/discrepancies for potential issues. I utilize multiple financial management systems to retrieve data used to analyze historic, current, and future projections to produce reports and metrics required for internal/external audits, inspections, quality assurance reviews, decision support, and financial briefings. I perform risk assessments on programs, internal control reviews, and preventive maintenance reviews to enhance overall quality within the program leading to improved customer satisfaction. I provide technical expertise and collaborate with a multitude of offices both internal and external to my organization on various projects often times with short notice deadlines. I provide leadership decision support and regulatory guidance, on project/programs completions and perform applicable training to all appointed Resource Managers within the agency. I communicate with Leadership and Senior Staff on fiscal responsibility concerning resource management program. I exercise full technical authority, with only broad administrative policies, direction, and guidance. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
