ABOUT THE AUTHORJoyce R. Rogers knew early in life about her calling to assist people in reaching their goals and aspirations, for she has been motivating and encouraging people to dream and pursue their aspirations since elementary school.  As the years went by, she was always the one her peers looked to for advice whenever they found themselves up against life's challenges.  It's no surprise that she has grown into a successful Certified Life Coach and dynamic Consultant. Joyce wasn’t interested in becoming a Certified Life Coach under just anyone, so she waited until she was divinely led to the Convergence Coach Certification Program, designed to Certify Extraordinary Leaders who are Called to COACH.Joyce obtained leadership training from Leadership Anne Arundel, Neighborhood Leadership Academy, SCORE, and the PATH program, and received recognition for outstanding Commitment to Personal Development. Joyce’s commitment earned her the Achievement Award for Mediation Awareness, as well as the Governor’s Citation in appreciation of her outstanding services to the citizens of her hometown of Maryland. She has Chaired and Co-Chaired many Civic Boards and Commissions, and has served on many local, state, and national political campaigns, she has even run for public office against a 20-year incumbent.Additionally, Joyce is a mother of nine children and currently has twenty-two grandchildren and one great-grandchild with the second expected in December 2020. She is a woman of GREAT substance and has spent more than forty years caring for others only to discover the importance of Self-Care in her later years. Since her discovery, Joyce has learned life is not to be balanced, but harmonized.  She believes no one should ever give away more of themselves than they are willing to have restored and replenished.  Joyce believes in God, Family, and Community, and she is an Ambassador of Christ, Anointed and Appointed to Lead in the 21st Century.
