As a Faculty Intern, my role involves assisting in the delivery of high-quality education to students in the Entrepreneurship Capstone class. I am responsible for organising and delivering engaging and thought-provoking lectures to a group of 43 students, while also grading, tracking and analysing their assignment and presentation scores. This allows me to provide extra academic guidance and support on class content to help improve their performance.In addition, I also plan and execute bi-semesterly panel sessions, which are designed to equip students with industry knowledge and improve their understanding of class content. This involves liaising with industry experts and coordinating their participation in the panel discussions.

The internship helped me work alongside experienced career advisors and career peer advisors to provide personal and career development training for students of Ashesi University. Through my internship, I have strengthened my ability to use Microsoft Excel for bookkeeping and working within timelines with the help of websites like monday.com. I have learned how to effectively communicate with colleagues and key stakeholders, and handle sensitive and confidential information.

I volunteered up to 8 hours a month to support the Berekuso Ashesi Leo Club which serves communities through clean-up exercises, sensitization campaigns, and career guidance in schools, among others. My duties included providing students in selected basic schools assistance in course selection for senior high school, helping in beach and community clean-ups and creating awareness on selected themes for the month.

In addition, I assisted in the procurement, ensured quality, and delivered supplies to subsidiaries of the company.
