Chair of Real Estate Committee - organize and recruit residents to participate in community development initiatives, assist in coordinating and preparation of RCO meetings, connect CPCDC to resource networks, worked with team to create an equitable real estate development strategy for East Parkside neighborhood, research best practices and tools for the restoration and preservation of disinvested communities.

Research, identify relevant legislation and best practices to promote VSRA's mission to address blight through community development in East Parkside neighborhood. Formulate strategies and develop initiatives for neighborhood improvement projects. Counsel/Represent homeowners on mitigating mortgage default and real estate tax foreclosure. Assist and represent homeowners in applications for Federal and State home retention programs (Home Affordable Mortgage Program, Homeowner's Emergency Mortgage Assistance, FHA Loss Mitigation, etc) A knowledge of substantive housing issues and governmental regulations regarding mortgage servicing and compliance and real estate tax legislation. Prepare Chapter 13 bankruptcy schedules.Knowledge of Energy Assistance programs and Utility payment agreements

Counseled unemployed workers on state and federal benefit programs, Represented clients at Unemployment Hearings and Lobbied for Health Care Rights for Unemployed Workers
