I always had a passion to be helpful and to offer assistance to people that may need or want a new direction or change in their lives. Having been uncertain as to where I wanted to go at one time in my life I found it so rewarding sitting down and speaking with a professional that had similar concerns in their journey to accomplish their goals. I wanted to be able to enhance these feelings of mine in a beneficial and productive way that could connect in one’s life that would enable them to build their dreams and aspirations. I found that Social Work was an avenue to release my passion in a professional and rewarding manner. I found this to be true while learning from the best during my two year field education assignment at Saint Mary’s Hospital. Working side by side with the LCSW’s confirmed what I would want to pursue and make a career of. I am hoping to acquire a position to begin to work toward my Clinical licensure.
