•• Promoting and creating awareness on the rights of persons with intellectual disabilities and their families through empowerment of parents and the community.• Lobbing and advocating for the rights of persons with intellectual disability and their families.• Facilitating the formation of parent support groups• Caring out research on intellectual disabilities with the aim of improving the quality and conditions of the intellectually challenged and their families.• Obtaining, collecting and receiving money, funds and grants by way of contributions, donation, subscriptions legacies and other lawful method for the purpose of furthering the organizations’ objectives.• Compiling monthly, weekly and quarterly reports, writing articles and proposals that will bring funds in the organization.
