* Responsibility for the quarterly cost saving and cost negotiation for South Asia Pacific region through distribution channels. * Engage suppliers to provide cost saving through spot buy.

* Managed a team of Materials Quotation Specialists supporting all quoting activities. This involves managing, analyzing, planning, negotiations, supporting, preparing management reports, employees’ appraisal and working on all quotes. * Take the lead role in managing suppliers’ quotation for all the new awarded projects/new transferred projects/ROHS conversion, for all the customers and all commodities in South Asia (Penang, Singapore, Batam, India).

* Responsibility for the quarterly contract price negotiations and execution for Asia Region for Logic/Linear/Discrete /Custom IC/Memory commodity. Meet/exceed minimum quarterly cost take down objective. * Engage suppliers to establish Asia Regional MOU (Purchasing Agreement). * Engage suppliers to participate in the replenishment program- Vendor Managed Inventory Program and Reduced Lead Time Program. * Responsibility for company inventory management through Lead Time reduction, cancellation and reschedule terms improvement.* Streamline supply base, manage suppliers’ performance and spending allocation. * Involve in localization and alternate source proposal for better cost saving. * Supply assurance for parts on allocation, short and long term. * Escalation point for site buyers to resolve materials shortages issues.
