With extensive experience in the design and implementation of Careers education, information, advice and guidance strategies, processes and procedures both within schools and the wider education sector I work with Senior Leaders to design and implement organisational wide strategies which generate real results and outcomes. Working with a range of partners I work to effectively link education and business together in a practical non-threatening way for the mutual benefit of everyone involved. I have worked extensively within the area of Apprenticeships with in depth knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks, delivery, assessment and funding criteria and I have skills and experience in training needs analysis, design, development and delivery of training programmes and evaluation of training impact for future action planning.

Working across the Lydiate Learning Trust to develop impactful and creative marketing and promotional strategies which showcase the unique features of the schools within the Trust. My passion for excellent educational experiences for all students is translated in the work I do with Trust and school Senior Leaders to understand and interpret their vision into communications and messages which reflect their positive intentions and ambitions for the students they nurture. A new and demanding direction of travel in my career but one which has re-ignited the fire behind my belief that education can be amazing!

Engaging with the local and wider business, resident and educational community to enrich the academic studies of students in the school. Duties include role as Head of Careers including the delivery of Careers and Employability related educational programmes, the arrangement and quality assurance of work experience and extended work related learning placements and the implementation of CEIAG policies and procedures.

Working with schools, colleges, universities and training providers to ensure that Enterprise is included within the learning experience. Assisting in the development of young people and adults to equip them for future success. Key areas of expertise include; Enterprise Education, Employability, Customer Service and Business related subjects.
