As the Head of CreditEase’s Big Data Innovation Center, I am responsible for setting the big data vision and strategies for the entire company, translating the vision into various business, product and technology execution plans, leading the execution through various cycles to its fruition, and leading the innovation initiatives along the way to wade through the uncharted waters of combining the online and offline financial services to better serve our customers and partners. The center’s focus includes laying out the infrastructure for data acquisition, data storage, data processing, data analysis, and serving the data in the proper way to the downstream services and applications. We also aim to build a series of data driven web and/or mobile applications to expand CreditEase’s product family, and package the data capability in the appropriate way to better serve the entire CreditEase ecosystem.I am also responsible for building the organization from scratch and rapidly growing it to a full-fledged business unit with accountability on its own P&L.
