As an immigrant and woman of color, I arrived in the US without the privileges of an Ivy League education or an established network to guide me. Despite my lofty ambitions of working for the world's largest corporations and reaching new career heights, finding mentors, coaches, and experts to support my journey was a formidable challenge. Moreover, as I entered the workforce, the absence of women of color in the tech industry was stark.Hence PlusOne comes into play. We're not just a platform; we're a beacon of opportunity. Picture us as the "Airbnb for Mentorship and Coaching." In 1 year, we've empowered over 2,000 women with knowledge and linked about 100 to their dream mentors and coaches in Tech. My journey doesn't end there. With a decade of experience as a Senior Program Manager, I've been at the forefront of eCommerce, analytics, cloud technology and program management. I've orchestrated teams at tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon, crafting solutions and programs that elevate customer satisfaction.
