As Associate Director of Nursing, I oversee and lead 50+ nursing staff and direct reports. My work with the Lash Group has been one of continual progression due to my many successes working with the business development group. In this role, my team repeatedly meets business targets and, as a team, elevates the brand image of Lash Group. I began my career as a senior nurse manager, earning a promotion based on my strong track record of success with the organization. My leadership style has always been collaborative and empowering. I believe that if you take care of your staff, they will take care of the client, and experience has borne that out. I currently am very proud of my .01% attrition rate and high patient satisfaction rate. Together my team was able to make significant improvements in process efficiency by collaboratively assessing current processes, performing gap analysis and developing and implementing more streamlined processes while remaining aligned with company policy. Some of my additional successes in this role are…   ➝ Displaced incumbent formulary with breakthrough drug; supported 10,000+ patient increase by doubling RN staff size. Led recruiting, interviewing, skill level assessment, and onboarding of additional nursing staff within 5 months of launch.    ➝ Conceptualized and launched programs in managed care and government sectors, bridging the gap between organizational objectives and department performance.   ➝ Authored standard operating procedures (SOP), aligning virtual nursing teams and establishing consistency for previously haphazard operating paradigm for 100 contract nurses across the US.   ➝ Lead community involvement and education initiatives, manage nursing human resource issues, and develop and launch multimillion-dollar healthcare programs.

Partnering with Sales team, as the field Clinical Educator it was my responsibility to provide peer to peer presentations and education on specific products. I’ve worked with patient populations in women’s health, multiple sclerosis, and schizophrenia to name just a few. I served as a patient advocate, making in-house and office visits to patients and physicians in furtherance of education efforts for affected patients. Our educational efforts resulted in increased patient access to life-changing therapeutics for schizophrenia and multiple sclerosis for over 1,500+ patients. Some of my other achievements in this role were   ➝ Delivered in-home and in-office training for patients and nursing staff on injection techniques, medication side effect management, multiple sclerosis progression, and medication compliance initiatives.

In this role I designed and launched the LTSS/CBA alternative program along with the pediatric program for United Healthcare. Overseeing the pediatric program was an acutely rewarding role. This program was a multimillion-dollar patient case management program for medicaid/medicare. We increased positive patient outcomes by taking steps to standardize technology and procedures and look closely at patient feedback and KPI dashboards. I had the honor to work with a fantastic group of nurses and physicians in a positive culture including 15 remote case managers. As Manager of the case management department I developed work flows for the nursing staff that integrated with other departments and coached the team on customer service skills.

My nursing career began with a wealth of experience at the bedside and progressed to pediatric travel nurse positions. I then progressed to pediatric home care where I experience my first leadership role as a Clinical Coordinator.
