My interior design journey started from a childhood competition, “Build your Dream House”. Like a seed germinated from the soil, I have been incorporating the idea of bringing the dream world into reality to make the world a better place. I believe the definition of a successful design is more than aesthetic in visual and persist in design details. Establishing the connections with human’s 5 senses, emotion, and memory, and then creating the interaction with spaces are also fundamental to the success of a design. Knowing that a good design not only brings beauty to the world & environment but also fulfills human needs physically and mentally. My design is inspired by nature and everyday life experiences. I am aware of the importance of minimising the negative impact on the natural environment. Therefore, I love to include sustainable & recyclable elements into my design considerations for healthy and productive environments.At work, I am a well organized person with flexible multi-tasking skills and advanced time management skills, able to work on projects from initial design phase of client meeting, branding design, interior 3D modelling to DA/CDC approval, and eventually to the completion of commercial fitout. I believe in the importance of creative teamwork and team coordination, knowing that the success of good designs is a result of teamwork, a fusion of various cultures and a procedure multiple attempts. Known by peers as a creative and responsible problem solver and great collaboration partner who pays attention to details, keeps the team calm, methodical and motivated during tough project timing.Outside of my work, I am an outgoing, positive and nature lover who has passion for aquascaping and ornamental shrimp keeping. In my leisure time, I enjoy designing a natural scene with the most suitable material in aquarium for shrimps based on their behaviour. Inspired by nature, my hobbit not only allows me to explore and respect the beauty of nature and natural materials, finds the perfect balance of using various materials in design; but also contributes to the idea of thinking outside of the (aquarium) box.
