I lead career counseling and career educational services for a regional university serving over 14,000 undergraduates. I supervise career counselors and graduate assistants in our mission of delivering outstanding career guidance to students of every major and background. I focus upon leading teams to generate creative and high-quality career service options that are relevant to our clients’ lives. I’m also committed to creating instructional and outreach solutions to support the career success faculty and staff seek to foster in classrooms, student organizations, and campus departments. Specialties include: Training and professional development, project management, learning outcomes assessment, program evaluation, workshop design, staff restructuring to support service delivery, and career event planning and promotion. My professional interests include the use of technology to support career education, supervision of career counseling, assisting clients with career decision-making, and career assessment interpretation. My favorite workshop topics (it’s hard to choose!) include professional branding, LinkedIn, career readiness, interviewing, and anything where I’m able to customize content for specific audiences—because the best learning is personalized learning.
