I pursued a diploma in Early Childhood Education and am currently in my final year of university studying more about children. My course of study has equipped me with the necessary competencies and experience in the areas of preschool pedagogy, teaching methodologies, child development as well as child psychology. These have enabled me to identify potential gaps and brainstorm solutions for real-life problems in preschools, as well as to plan and execute lessons for preschool children.My specialization is in Early Literacy, where I have honed my skills and knowledge in developing children's books as well as coming up with some of my storybook creations.I actively engage and interact with children of a wide range of ages by enthusiastically grabbing opportunities to participate in both local and overseas events that involve children and undertaking different types of volunteer work with young children.My goal is to create a safe space for children to express themselves in their own creative and unique way.With the exposure gained these past few years, I have developed tremendously in mind and heart. With the skills and knowledge imparted to me in my course of study, I am eager to contribute back to society and inspire young lives as best I can.
