It Still Takes a Village (ISTAV) is a non profit organization that is intended to be a community of support for black and brown girls. ISTAV was created specifically for teenage girls in the Middle Georgia area. It is our mission to strengthen their perception of themselves through educational workshops, summits and community events. The events focus on social, emotional and mental health wellness while dualistically teaching soft skills such as teamwork, leadership skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
