Joyce has over 17 years of social science-based research experience, demonstrating excellent research design and analysis, communication, presentation, and collaborative skills. Although her published research includes areas such as face recognition biases, relative distinctiveness, person perception, socio-cognitive biases, and prospective memory, she considers herself a research generalist; the scientific method can be artfully applied to any discipline. In the role as an instructor, she has taught such courses as Research Methods, Statistics, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Neuropsychology, Face Perception, Social Psychology, Sensation and Perception, and Research Apprenticeship.
