As a former accountant with a corporate service provider, I have encountered countless SME owners who have trouble juggling their accounting and tax matters while staying on top of their daily operations. I witnessed first-hand the struggles they faced and developed a passion to help them. That is why I founded Ascension Corporate Services in 2020, with the belief that quality accounting services should be accessible to all SME owners. Our mission is to provide a suite of accounting and tax services that cater to busy SME owners to help them meet their ACRA and IRAS filing deadlines with ease. I am an accredited finance professional with over 10 years of experience in accounting, tax, audit, and business analytics. I have a proven track record in serving the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) market in Singapore and managed a portfolio of over 50 clients across diverse industries as an accountant with a corporate service provider. I earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University in 2006, and was a former Big 4 audit assistant manager trained in the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards, United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. I am a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP), and an Accredited Tax Practitioner for Income Tax and GST (ATP - Income Tax & GST). As a qualified individual (QI) registered with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), I am authorized to perform statutory filings on behalf of clients. My specialty lies in cloud accounting; I am a Xero partner, a Xero-certified advisor and migration specialist, and a Hubdoc-certified Xero partner who can drive the digital transformation of your accounting process through the adoption of cloud accounting.
