I have a passion for healthcare and professional sports. With the Dutch national field hockey team we became European and World champion and won a gold and silver medal at the Olympic Games. Besides that I became best best goalkeeper in the world twice. During my career as a professional athlete I managed to study medicine and I am now focusing on my career as a general practitioner. Besides that I regularly give presentations about mindset, teambuilding and performing under pressure. Last but not least I am one of the board members at a charity called Spieren voor Spieren and an ambassador for the Edwin van der Sar Foundation.
