Joyce is honored to serve foster families and children in need. She is utilizing her natural leadership abilities, management skills and outside the box thinking to assist and resolve uncertainties that the foster parents may have. Joyce plans to continue mentoring, teaching, and helping children of any age and help them achieve their goals. Joyce facilitates communications between resource parents and foster children to create unity. Joyce understands that sometimes a shoulder to lean on or an ear to lend can make a world of difference. Joyce has experienced first hand the importance of cultural acceptance and spreading awareness. Joyce believes to help erase misunderstanding through communication and demonstration is the foundation of problem resolution. Joyce is a native Mandarin speaker and fluent in American Sign Language and can also make simple greetings in Spanish/Russian.
