Esperanza Community Services is a well established nonprofit organization that provides essential support services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Esperanza's mission is to provide instruction and services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their full potential toward a productive and independent life. Since its founding, Esperanza has positively impacted the lives of thousands of children and adults.

Under the direction of the Board of Directors, responsible for overall management and operation of a nonprofit social service agency that provides programs and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. With an annual operating budget of $6M, Orchard Village serves 300 individuals in a variety of programs. Duties include execution of policies set by the Board of Directors; overall leadership of staff; financial management of the corporation, including asset management; resource development (fund raising); oversight of administrative functions, and overall operation of the corporation, including compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Responsible for the development and execution of strategies that advance the organization’s profile to include marketing, public relations, and community and governmental affairs.

Supervise Program Directors that manage daily operations of agency programs that include Residential, Vocational, Educational, and In-Home Supports. Oversee and manage operations department budget of $5M. Duties include implementation of departmental strategic planning that aligns with organization’s mission; expand organizational partnerships through collaboration with state agencies and community organizations; execute a comprehensive marketing plan to maintain and increase customer census. In conjunction with Executive Director support the Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (IARF) with legislative initiatives and lobby on behalf of agency to the IL General Assembly and DHS on key issues impacting the industry.
