To Whom it May Concern:I truly enjoy merchandising as a whole. Although everyone has weaknesses, mine is setting shelves, as they are just getting too heavy for me to handle. Anything over 18 inches I usually have to have help with. Other than that I have the unusual knack of picking out what someone does best and putting them in that position, then working with them on their weaknesses to make them a stronger merchandiser. I work better as a lead as that is what I have been doing for most of my 23 plus years in the industry. I do not mind the paperwork, but do expect to be compensated for the work as it can sometimes be very time consuming. I love project work, because as you go along doing the same thing in several stores, you get faster which means you end up making more per hour. I do this with team work also, so that the stores that are assigned can get done faster and more accurately. Each person is assigned a task or tasks at each store, moving forward they do the same thing, making them faster which makes it easier to meet deadlines.
