About Joy Hazucha

I am passionate about using my experience in entrepreneurial business and strategic talent management to address issues that impact the World, such as implementing international development in a sustainable way. Equally important to effective change is a culture based on values, modeled by leaders who care about the mission, the people, and accountability, and demonstrate this in their behavior. I most enjoy growing an organization and leading people, applying what I taught our clients and learned from them. I also enjoy building innovative solutions that solve important, ambiguous problems, working in collaboration with other leaders from different perspectives and cultures. I believe in finding the sweet spot between what energizes each individual and what the organization needs to fulfill its mission. Mission-driven, values-based, results-focused, I enjoy learning about organizations and people and what makes them unique. I love being a bridge - between cultures, science and practice, field and corporate. I have published and presented on the leadership pipeline, global leadership, women in leadership, and leadership development. I have had the privilege of living and working on three continents, and leading multi-cultural teams, building on my formative years living in Europe and Africa, where I gained a deep enjoyment of other cultures and languages.
