I have always had a process-oriented mind, being able to work through problems systematically and using evidence-based guidelines had always been in my path perhaps based on my science background and my love for research and data.I am a data driven Public health professional with over 3 years’ experience in non-communicable diseases, HIV/AIDS and sexual and reproductive health education. I am passionate about health improvement, health promotion, disease prevention and health policy. I recently completed a Data Analytics bootcamp to enhance my Data analytics skills leveraging tools such as Power BI, SQL, Tableau, Excel to provide insights on health issues and provide solutions to challenges identifiedAlso, being able to adapt to different situations requires enthusiasm, organizational and communication skills which I have honed over the years not only as an employee but also in my capacity as a leader in several sphere. I harnessed the skills of negotiation, problem solving while remaining objective and intentional when dealing with issues of social justice and advocacy such as Sexual and Gender Based Violence as these situations are often sensitive and require a level of professionalism. My goal is to be able to provide informed knowledge on healthy life choices in a clear and relatable approach, integrating my science, Data Analytics, and public health knowledge to serve my community and the world.When I am not working, I enjoy hanging out with loved ones, watching movies, listening to a podcast or music, or reading a book, all done with a lovely cup of tea.
