• Focal point for the management of Safety Critical systems within the Reliability team. Previously part of the project delivery team, responsible for major obsolescence upgrade projects.As Part of the Reliability Team• Developed and implemented maintenance strategy in Maximo (CMMS). Also spearheaded improvement initiatives such as alarm system management.• Responsible for securing approval for projects through the Management of Change process (MoC), project definition and development of budget and schedule, committee approvals, managing Engineering Contractors and System Suppliers.• Leading the Functional Safety team and integral part of the Management of Change (MOC) Committee. Responsible for SRS, SIL assessment and verification on multiple projects.As Part of the Projects Team• Responsible for managing Engineering contractors such as Technip, Amec BlackCat, KBR Singapore and Ranhill WorleyParsons Malaysia. Also managed Suppliers such as ABB, Invensys, Hima-Sella (UK), Crowcon (UK), Federal Signal (USA), Powell (UK).• Hardware and software system testing and acceptance (Factory Acceptance Testing) – Triconex, ABB DCS, Hima.• Commissioning and handover of major Control System and Safety Systems Upgrades – Triconex Safety Systems Upgrade, MFP HIPPS System, ABB Infi90 Upgrades. Key member of several planned shutdown campaigns offshore.

• Responsible for leading an intense 6 months of system definition and testing for DCS, Fire and gas and ESD Systems at Invensys Dubai and ABB Abu Dhabi.

• Deputed to Ranhill WorleyParsons, Kuala Lumpur, for 8 months to lead detail engineering on the OPQL Safety Systems Upgrade Project.• Responsible for the Reverse Engineering of relay-based shutdown systems and Fire and Gas Systems.• Responsible for producing key deliverables including as-built schematics and terminations, cable block diagrams for the destruct and construct scope of work, preparation of layout drawings, cable routing. Developing termination drawings, loop drawings, cable schedule and MTO in SmartPlant Instrumentation• Focal for other associated projects such as the Pneumatic to Electronic Upgrade Project and the DCS Node Addition Project (ABB DCS).

• Responsible for the Detail Engineering of the Emergency Shutdown and Fire and Gas Systems Upgrade.• Team Lead for comprehensive site survey for As-Built of existing ESD and Fire and Gas systems.• I was responsible for developing and ensuring project schedule and quality, and for project reporting.

Booster Compressor Platform B• Lead Instrumentation Engineer for Instrumentation works and deputed to AkerKvaerner, KL.• Interface engineering with Consultants - review and approval of design drawings, review of Requisitions and vendor offer evaluation.• Part of the HAZOP team and was involved in the SIL assessment and verification process.• Systems engineering for Honeywell upgrade of the TDC DCS System to Experion, addition of new Experion DCS, addition of new Honeywell FSC based ESD and F&G Systems, upgrade of existing Siemens ESD and GE Fanuc F&G Systems, CCC Series 3+ Compressor Controls.Living Quarters and Power Upgrade Project• Design, testing, installation & commissioning for the Honeywell Experion DCS upgrade and Triconex ESD system.• Replaced existing MSA F&G system with a new Triconex F&G system.• Upgraded the existing Federal Signal PA/GA system.• Lead role in E&I activities for engineering, procurement support, vendor co-ordination, client interface, for major equipment of PS-2/3 LQ & power block upgrade.Songo Songo Island Gas Development• Involved in the engineering, testing, installation & commissioning of a Modicon based PCS and a Hima PLC based ESD & F&G system.
