After earning my undergraduate degree in International Studies with a concentration in Social Justice, I continued to work for my alma mater Virginia Commonwealth University for five and a half years in research and learning. My undergraduate coursework served as a compass navigating me through many critical points of interest that shape public policy today, such as international relations, human development, world religions, and global ethics and affairs, as well as provided me with a well-rounded understanding of the complexities of the macro and micro-cultures throughout the world. My graduate studies helped to facilitate my understanding of local and federal governments processes and how to meet the challenges of public service in both government and nonprofit sectors, and provided an advanced state of knowledge in the field of public administration through scholarly research and publications to be able to serve the profession and local, state, federal and international communities.My interest is to work in the public or private sector as a policy analyst or defense logistics analyst. Other interests include non-profit management, state affairs, international relations, poverty reduction strategy and human rights.

Reported to the Chairman of the House Committee for Courts of Justice in order to conduct a study commissioned by VIDC researching any potential differences in certain outcomes between court-appointed private attorneys and public defenders using data provided by the Virginia State Crime Commission's Pre-trail Data Project 2017 cohort. The methodology of this project consisted of a quantitative analysis using a moderated regression calculating and "PROCESS V4.0" in SPSS as well as descriptive statistics of all independent variables, dependent variables, moderators and control variables.
