With over eight years of legal and compliance experience, I am a GRC, and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance professional. I have successfully led and completed various high-level audits and process implementation projects, such as data protection impact assessments, risk management and surveillance audits, company-wide enterprise risk assessments, and major SaaS transactions and compliance due diligence.Currently, I am the Legal and Compliance Lead at Woven Finance, a leading fintech company in sub-Saharan Africa, where I oversee the governance, regulatory, and compliance functions of the company. I have a deep understanding of technology products and software integrations, and the associated compliance risks and challenges in the fintech industry. My objective is to impact governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) excellence in the tech industry, while contributing effectively to the legal and regulatory compliance framework of my current and future employers.
